360º CITY TOUR by Núria Capdevila, Imma Gangolells, Núria González and Imma Novell

Level: 3rd ESO

Objective: to describe a landmark in your city/town/surrounding area using the Cardboard Camera app.
Warm-up: 

1. Watch the photo of the following link https://goo.gl/vrphoto/s7N2svKl9id8w3zs1 using Cardboard Goggles.
2. Answer these questions:
1. Is this familiar to you?
2. What is the name of the square? 
3. What kind of industry was described?
4. What can children do there?
5. Would you like to do something there? I'm sure you will. Let's go.

 Activity steps:

1. Choose a place to take a picture of and describe.
2. Complete the CITY mind map. (students will have a blank mind map). You can use wordreference.

3. In pairs, choose one of your pictures.
4. Write the description of your place. Show it to the teacher.
5.  Rehearse reading your description as an oral presentation.
6. At your free time, individually, take a picture of your chosen place with the oral description
7. Send the link of your photo to the teacher.
